I scaled the engineering team from 35 to 110 engineers, and stood up new development centres in the US and Far East, making the company truly global. Over that time, transaction volume scaled from 5 million to over 150 million payments per year. I led major architectural changes, migrating the platform from a monolith to a cloud-based design, all while maintaining greater than 99.99% uptime. I was also CTO at Smart Pensions, where I managed 130+ developers globally.
